Hewn from the rock and set on the edge of the small village of Fuente Nueva, near Orce, and with far reaching views to the mountains, the cave-house is in a wonderful location. Inside the ceilings are high and the rooms are airy and spacious, with most having natural light.
The cave has two double bedrooms, two sitting-rooms (one with open fire), dining room, kitchen and bathroom. Outside is a good-sized garden with mature trees for shade, a table and chairs and a barbecue area.
The surrounding scenery is very varied, ranging from semi-desert, scrub-covered hills, cut through by fertile irrigated valleys, to high mountain ranges whose lower slopes are clad in vast pine forests.
Road access is excellent considering the untouched nature of the region. The cave is about about 1½ hours from Granada airport and around 2 hours from Almeria, Alicante and Murcia San Javier airports.
